ANYTHING GOES WITH AN OPTIONAL TWIST TO USE A BOW - JANUARY 17-31

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!
woof woofwoof woof

Ike did - that's who!

Take a look at Ike's World Challenge (here) to see the cutest BOWS creations, both from the Designers and in the Entries.
You can find Ike's Doggies at Ike's Store (here).

For my bulldog, I decided to try my hand at an art style my good friend creates with - pebbles, rocks and boulders.

Well!  Let's say this is not my medium.  Oh my goodness - you should have heard me cursing each and every little pebble I picked up.  First, using my thingidoodle that you make holes for brads, then my tweezers (of every sort) then subserving to what my friend uses - toothpicks.

I tried putting a collar bow of glue on my doggie.  UGH GRRR !&*$(#!

Then I put a blob of glue on my table and dabbed, picked up the pebble and placed (or NOT!)  They stick to the tweezers, toothpick, and not the paper!

My friend Michelle, on the other desk in my Craft Room was mildly sympathetic to my ("@^*&%!") every 2 seconds.

The art piece took me an hour, this little (bleep bleep) bow took 3 hours. Mind you, Netflix was going on right in front of me, but still - FR-UST-ER-A-TING - to no end!

So, what is this to say?

I like the outcome somewhat but what I really learned is this.  You can love what another person does, watch them do it with ease - but massive concentration in my friend's case - but that does NOT mean it is your medium, meant for you to create with, akin to your creative soul.

Oh, I know - you might be thinking "patience, time to learn it, start at the beginning or give yourself a break!"

But - NOPE!

I know when a size 9 shoe is WAY TO BIG for my size 7 foot.

And sometimes, acceptance is the best route. GRRR.

Or, in my case last night, stand up proudly, look those little fricken pebbles right in the eyes and say "@!$%^# - and there it shall be."

In the end though, Praise G-d I am done, I do hope you like my itsy bitsy pebbles and glue and pearl BOW!

My saving Grace here is that the FOCUS is Ike's Digital Doggie that I thoroughly enjoyed coloring!!!

Bless You!

And...it all ends up in Sunshine!
Thanks G-d.
