...do the Hokey Pokey and that's what it's all about!
I love this time of year; the birds are chirping all around the farmland, in the morning they wake up the neighbourhood as if to say "hey folks, make haste, not waste!" Get up, start your gardening so that we can eat those worms! It is exactly like this time of the biblical year - just after the rising - the time of life, the time of feast, the time of celebration. Even the birds are feeling it! So why not make them whimsical and whacky and show how excited they are that their hearts too are reincarnated to yet another spring, and to a cleansing and to a new start with the passing over of evil and the rising of goodness!
And this was a week of birdies with Tam from LIFE BOOK 2013. It was so fun. I don't usually find my art experience "fun." I find it intense, deep, vulnerable and irresistibly enticing to run to my studio the second I wake (usually moments after 3:58 a.m. So I'd like to share my birdies with you...most are variations of owls, but some birdies also. I went on after Tam's class and created more because I loved the adventure of it all so much. Thanks LIFE BOOK! Love You TAM, you groovy funk loving nature bound bohemian womyn!

ReplyDeleteI love all your whimsical characters! And I admire how prolific you are. I love the colors and the expressiveness. Can't wait to see what happens when you get your PVA.
ReplyDeleteSamara, (softly)
ReplyDeleteThose birds have some faint hippie qualities. I am still laughing, as I love burned food, and hate loud noise and was a year too old to join the hippies. I even cut the bells out of my first bell bottoms. Your work is amazing.
We appreciate and thank you, for taking time out your day to post this beautiful project at Word Art Wednesday,

Hi Samara...Thanks for visiting my Blog and leaving me a wonderful and detailed comment. I am grateful to the Lord Jesus for allowing me to share to people God's written Word and if I am sharing in today's time, it's because God has shown me how His words transcends time and that what He has done for humanity through the finished work of Christ is the Only way by which humanity can be saved. Like any growing believer, I had some puzzle pieces of God's revelations in my life that were not so clear before but as He led me to study His Word, the puzzle pieces came together and formed a clear picture. All I am doing is to share to everyone, what the picture is all about under the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am head over heels in love with the Lord and because of that, I just have to talk about Him. I am happy that you found some nuggets in what I shared and very carefully giving back the glory to Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Blessings always!
