ROMANCING THE CANVAS...


WOW AM I CONFUSED  @#$)(*#$&  !!!

ALTHOUGH I MAY CHANGE MY BLOG NAME TO
"ROMANCING THE CANVAS"
I LIKIEEEE!

ok friends, this week i was sure i was finished, complete, over, "i was breaking-up" with mixed media and paper.

but, oh man, there is always a but...

today

is a new day.

need i say more.

i am a womyn.

Today I have a collection of art I created this week (as I always do on Fridays - inundate you with a week's worth of work) and as you will see, most is on canvas, having gone into a big boycott of paper! But, as they said on Hogan's Heroes "I see Nossing!"

    Romancing the Canvas - Hmmm - I think that's what my beautician daughter does with hair! Except this time she romanced it a little too short!

    Personally, I like paper. It doesn't seem as precious as canvas. Yes, you can paint canvas over and over but paper....wad it up, throw away and start fresh! Just saying'.

    I think there is enough love to go around. Canvas won't get jealous or paper and paper will understand about the canvas! Especially since both seem to love you!! :)

    This Blog post is so funny in a wonderful sense of the word. Yes,it's a good idea to ask God cause He's the Only One who knows what's best for your art---canvas or paper? Personally, I would not really give up any. Maybe, I will have one for the season and keep the other one for the other season....Anyway, sorry for my delay in responding to your latest comment left on my Blog. I am honored that you want to include my Blog in your morning lattes. You are such a sweetie. I don't have any clue what an email gadget is but I saw that you are now Following my Blog which I think will make it available for you when I post something new. Rumors are that Google is going to eliminate the "Followers" page, not really sure if it's happening and when! I'll get more details on that and see what to do in time.     My home is canvas! Lol
    Very nice canvases and wonderfully collaged with paper I guess? ;-)

    What is the problem? Being fixated on collage? You can collage without paper even :-)

    Lovely journal pages and the blog title really applies .

    I have started collecting canvases from Michael's with their 40% coupons . I bought the gallery duck canvas and wood,of course the conk is not too far from view : )
    Paper is always nice and really what ever canvas makes it's presence in the inspiring moment : ) will be it.Enjoyed your post.
