Weekly Challenge | Use Pattern Paper

We can use any paper we like as long as it has a pattern.  Don't forget to check at the store (just click anywhere here to get to the store) for the many varieties of great paper made by Wendy of Digital Designs!

but if you do, you can enter TWICE.

Now for my card.

I used both a DD Image and all DD pattern Paper.

I chose a technique I can HONESTLY say I won't do again

even though I love the results!

At many points, I thought I'd pull my hair out!

Sometimes, life is just like that!

I hope the work was worth it!

Yes, 'tis true.  I had 40 pieces of teensy tiny pieces of 12" paper strips that I wove through 40 other teensy tiny pieces of 12" paper strips!  OMGosh....It was the most creative thought, and I love how it turned out, using Digital Designs Spring Happy Flowers Designer Paper - but WOW - I had no idea what I was getting into!  As for the coloring of the images, I absolutely loved it (as usual.)  I used my water brush and SU pastels.  I love the consistent look they give and the way you can play with them to achieve light sources, which is more difficult with pencil and even my beloved copics!

 The swirly Q is from the $ store - my new Michael's!

 Now how cute is this paper!
