Using Ike's Groundhog Day, Winter Scene and Mr. Sun for IKE'S WORLD CHALLENGE - WHAT'S THE WEATHER.  This is a sketch, with Ike's images as the body and then fill in with all black and white on top of Carpenter Products that are left over from my house renovation. Loved the process. Not crazy about the outcome.

This is the Opening Gala for my blog - Simple... LOVE.  My mantra for 2016 is SIMPLE, (literally the word "simple") so the name change seemed fitting.  LOVE, and verses, poems, writing, prayers, journalling relating to LOVE or the lack thereof,  has always been the theme for my blog, from its inception, 22 years ago.

It is my pleasure to return to "arting and blogging", after a 6 month house renovation leave, with a creation from Kaz Kraftz for One Stitch At A Time and to offer my usual "food for thought."

I chose to take this VERY literally and complete the entire map of the TIC - TAC - TOE with Kaz Kraftz beautiful Flourish Swirl black embossed on transparency in each of 3 corners.
