ONE STITCH AT A TIME
I love this THEME of DAUGHTER! My daughter is the most amazing character in the Universe (according to her Mommy).
She is strong, motivated, self confident, gentle, thoughtful, stubborn, aggressive in her career as Director of Marketing and Sales for a downtown Toronto Film Editing Company, a diva in the best sense of the word, brilliant, tenacious, tough on me (teaches me everyday) generous (did I say generous?) and my equal.
She too is a Leo and my provider of clothes!
When Ayla was a wee tot she had a "Puffalump" a sacred, carry around, suck on, drag in the mud, never let out of her site. His/Her name was "Ellie."
Well Mommy lost Ellie. Devastating. Awful. Trauma. PTSD of the child kind.
To this day, at nearly 27 it can still be a conversation of "what the hell did mommy do with her Puffy?"
When I saw Ali Peeps "HUFFALUMP" it was a no brainer. YES YES YES! THIS IS AYLA!!!! I had asked Ayla to pick the digi, since it would be about her, but she was on her way to Mexico so asked me to. PERFECT.
So here we have it...My Angel, My Goddess, My Love, My Daughter, My Best Friend.

ONE STITCH AT A TIME
I love this set! Having joined The Art Journaler, a community that works with Glue Booking, Card Club and of course Art Journaling as a transformative tool and calendar tool, I saw Stitchy's Euchre Deck and fell in love. It falls right in line with what we do over there with Playing Cards.
I hope you like my vision for Stitchy's great art!
First I printed Stitchy's images on different colors of transparent paper.
Then I mod podged small printed images onto easter eggs and bought a metal tray from the dollar store.
I took regular clothes hanging pins and colored them with bingo dabbers, clipped them onto the metal tray but put some 3:1 glue right at the base of the clip on the tray. And of course, embellies on the clip
I also bought these cute little wire chicks at the dollar store that are pliable and made of wire and stuck them on the eggs with sookwang tape
Here is the variety of Stitchy's EUCHRE DECK bunny's and the different sizes I made them on the transparent paper
These little cuties were all from the dollar store and nicely separated into eggs, ducks and bunny's but came in one stapled together pack. Of course, I had to mix them all up!
And I used a Paper gift bag as my backing paper, cut open, and some of that Raffeta (is that what it is called?) to put around the tray. To put it in the coffee table, I would cut the bag in a circle, put cardboard underneath and make the circle as wide as I could around the tray. And put it away for next Easter.

PROJECT 2
For Project 2 I had an idea to make a Playboy Bunny House!
I used the Pink Raffeta (?) in the hole of my house (which was SOOOO fun to make) with 1 chick "coming on haha" to another chick and the 3rd chick very forelorned! hahaha (like you would have figured that out right? lol
I thought the Hugh Hefner Easter Bunny Playboy Mansion needed a Bouncer at the gate - thus a chick and a bird as Gate Keepers!
My Bird looks as though he is "I see nothing, I know nothing!" lol
I then attached some wonderful ribbon I bought at the dollar store to my house and to a flower that holds Stitchy's EUCHRE DECK.
I used Clear Gesso on the cards and then water paint - not my fav. combo - but a nice experiment.
I then used Sparkle Varnish from my Folk Art.
This I like.
I attached 3 pieces of thin ribbon to my flower and then stapled the cards (mini ATC deck I got at the dollar store) to the ribbon just slightly overlapping, thinking it would be wayyyyy to long otherwise. I am not sure I would do this again as it hides to much of the card and Easter Playboy Bunny.
And there you have it!
